This seminar will provide an overview over infectious (viral, bacterial, fungal, others) and non-infectious (immune mediated such as granulomatous meningoencephalitis) inflammatory brain diseases in dogs and cats. Participants will learn about non-specific disease features of encephalomyelitis, findings commonly reported with specific conditions, uncommon presentations, and potential pitfalls (tumors mimicking inflammation).
