Mauro Pivetta

MAURO PIVETTA, DVM, PhD, Dipl. ECVDI, RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, qualified from Bologna University in 2003 and spent one year in small animal practice before returning to Bologna University in 2005 where he gained a clinical PhD in Emergency and Critical Care. During this period, he developed his enthusiasm for Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

In September 2009 Mauro joined the Animal Health Trust as an Intern in Diagnostic Imaging and in September 2010 he enrolled in the European Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging and undertook a three-year residency programme. In September 2013, he was awarded the European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. After working as a clinical radiologist at North Downs Specialist Referrals UK, Mauro recently joined as a Lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College, UK. He enjoys all aspects of clinical Diagnostic Imaging, in particular, ultrasonography.
