Gretchen Rowe

Gretchen Rowe, DVM, Cert IVUSS
Gretchen received her DVM from the University of Minnesota, and practiced general small animal medicine and surgery in the Minneapolis/St Paul area for 14 years. In 2005, she was recruited to mentor with a radiologist practicing mobile ultrasound, CT, and treating hyperthyroid cats with I 131. That training, along with every outside CE course she could find, over 300 hours didactic and lab, lasted 10 months. Then she partnered with the radiologist in serving the 260 metro clinics’ ultrasound & echocardiography needs for the next 10 years. She began the IVUSS certification process in 2006, and became certified in 2008. She has been providing ultrasound services, including echocardiography with case consultations since 2005, continuing in Bend, Oregon since 2014.
