Eamon Loughman
BA, MSc, ProfDip, MPE-IPEM
Eamon Loughman, BA, MSc, ProfDip, MPE-IPEM, graduated with a BA mod physics from Trinity College Dublin in 2012. He subsequently went on to complete an MSc in Medical Physics at National University of Ireland, Galway, where he graduated at the top of his class. In 2019 he completed a ProfDip in Data Analytics. He is currently a senior diagnostic physicist employed by St Vincent’s University Hospital. His areas of interest are 3D image reconstruction and analysis, computer vision and non-ionising radiation. He provides scientific support in the areas of PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Monitor Calibration, Ophthalmologic lasers, Dermatology Phototherapy services and provides whole hospital MPE services to the National Rehab Hospital, Ireland. Eamon provides lectures to University College Dublin, School of Physics, School of Medicine and the Faculty of Radiology, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.
