Granada – In the Heart of Andalusia

From June 14th to 18th, we will gather in the historic city of Granada, nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the heart of Andalusia. Famous for its unique blend of cultures, stunning architecture, and warm Mediterranean atmosphere, Granada provides the perfect setting for learning, networking, and unforgettable experiences.

As always, our scientific program will cover all major diagnostic imaging modalities. Internationally renowned speakers will share their expertise through lectures, case discussions, and interactive sessions designed for veterinary imaging professionals at all stages of their careers. This is an in-person congress, because nothing beats learning, sharing, and laughing face-to-face!
But, if you can’t join us, you can still be part of the experience: an online option offers 6 months access to the recorded lectures.
And for those who want the full package, the hybrid option includes both live participation and access to all content after returning home.

You don’t have the possibility to travel?
No Problem, we got you covered.
We are recording every Live Session, and each lecture will be accessible for another six months after the event in Granada.

Why no live streaming?
We can’t forsee the qualitiy of the internet connection on site. Therefore we can’t guarantee a functional live stream.
Recording the talks and uploading them afterwards is more reliable and stressless for everybody involved.

Our Preliminary Scientific Program

The Art of Patterns

In 2027, the Vet Meet Summer Camp will explore “The Art of Patterns” inspired by the intricate geometric patterns that are a defining feature of Granada’s iconic Alhambra.
These patterns are not only a visual signature of the city, but also provide a fitting metaphor for diagnostic imaging: recognizing patterns, understanding their underlying structures, and identifying when something deviates from the expected.
Our scientific program will explore patterns of flow, disease and data, as well as the growing role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in diagnostic imaging. As always, CT, MRI, Radiography and Ultrasonography will be at the heart of the program, complemented by interactive case discussions and exchange with international experts.

Participants can select the Entire Track, the Advanced Imaging Track or the US/RX Track.

Monday Social Program Option I

Alhambra @ Night

The Monday Night Tour focuses on the few selected areas that are accessible at night, while the Wednesday Extended Tour provides a much more comprehensive daytime visit with access to the full complex. If you would like to see the Alhambra in its entirety, we recommend choosing the Wednesday Extended Alhambra Tour. If you prefer a much quieter and calmer atmosphere or have already visited the Alhambra at daytime, we would definitely recommend the Alhambra at night.

Monday Social Program Option II

Historic City Centre Tour

Explore Granada beyond the Alhambra on a guided walking tour through the historic centre and the atmospheric Albaicín district.

The tour offers a great introduction to the city and is a particularly good alternative for those who would like to have the full Alhambra experience on Wednesday and want to avoid overlapping content.

Wednesday Social Program Option I

Kayak and Snorkelling Tour

Discover the spectacular coastline of La Herradura from the sea on a guided kayak tour through the Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Park.

Paddle along the cliffs and crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, explore natural sea caves and discover hidden spots that can only be reached from the water. Along the way, there will be time to swim and snorkel and enjoy the marine life and beautiful surroundings.

The tour is suitable for beginners and will be accompanied by professional guides throughout.

Wednesday Social Program Option II

Hiking & Swimming in the Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Park

Discover one of the most spectacular natural areas of the Andalusian coast on a guided hike through the Maro-Cerro Gordo Natural Park.

Follow scenic trails along the coastline, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, dramatic cliffs and beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Along the way, discover natural viewpoints, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and learn more about the area’s landscape and biodiversity from your guide.
The hike also includes a stop for a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean, making it a wonderful way to experience the coastline from both land and sea.
