Oriol Domenech

Oriol Domenech, MS, DECVIM-CA (Cardiology) ,graduated in veterinary medicine in 1996 from the “Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona”, Spain. From 1996 to 1997 worked as a general practitioner in Reus (Tarragona, Spain). From 1997 to 1999 performed the three cardiology courses from ESAVS (European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies). From 1998 to 2000 worked in a clinic in Barcelona (Spain) as a chief of the cardiology department. From 2000 to 2001 performed an internship training period in Milan, Italy. From 2001 to 2004 performed a residency program from ECVIM-CA (cardiology) in Milan, Italy obtaining the ECVIM-CA (cardiology) diploma in 2006. From 2006 to 2011 he worked as a specialist in cardiology in a referral clinic in Milan, Italy and Barcelona, Spain. From 2011 he is the chief of the cardiology department at the “Istituto Veterinario di Novara”, Italy. He has been a member of the examination committee and he actually is a member of the credentials committee of the ECVIM-CA for the speciality of cardiology. From 2014 he is the director of an ECVIM-CA (cardiology) residency program at the “Istituto Veterinario di Novara”, Italy. He is an author of international and national articles, book chapters and studies presented in national and international courses and congresses.
