Melanie graduated from the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 2005.

Since 2007 she works in a big referral center in Dordrecht (now AniCura Verwijscentrum Dordrecht), the Netherlands, where she soon dedicated her time almost completely to ultrasound and cardiology.

In this clinic she works with Veterinary Specialists in many fields, including Cardiology and Medical Imaging.

She is currently completing her Master in Veterinary Cardiology through the ESAVS and the IVUSS certificate program.
