Elena Scarpante DVM DipECVN MRCVS EBVS®️ & RCVS Recognised  Specialist in Veterinary Neurology

After qualifying with honour from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2007, Elena gained experience working in two busy private veterinary hospitals in Italy, before moving to the United Kingdom in October 2009. After 8 months in general practice, she completed a one-year rotating internship at the Animal Health Trust, Centre of Small Animal Studies. For the following 3 years she worked in a well-established multicentre small animal clinic in Yorkshire, before returning to Italy to work as a neurologist in a busy small animal hospital in Rome. Between October 2014 and October 2017 Elena completed a 3-year ECVN Residency program at Dick White Referrals, before returning to the Animal Health Trust as a Clinician in Neurology. In 2018 Elena successfully passed the examination for the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN). Since October 2019 Elena has been working as Clinician in Neurology at Dick White Referrals.
