Heike Aupperle-Lellbach

PD Dr. Heike Aupperle-Lellbach

Heike graduated from Tierärztliche Hochschule, Hannover, Germany in 1994.

In 1995 she started a Doctoral thesis at the Institute of Veterinary-Pathology at the University Leipzig, supervised by Prof. Dr. H.A. Schoon. During 1997 –2010 she was postgraduate Assistant and performed Postdoctural lecture graduation (Habilitation) at Institute of Veterinary-Pathology at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Leipzig (Investigation on the role of the extracellular matrix in cardiovasvular diseases).

In 1999 she achieved the german specialization as „Specialist veterinarian for pathology“ and in 2007 she became „Specialist veterinarian for honey bees“.

Since 2010, Heike is Privat lecturer (PD) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Leipzig.

In 2010 she moved to LABOKLIN, Bad Kissingen, Germany and is working as a researching and diagnostic pathologist. She is author of papers published in international peer reviewed journals. She is a speaker of national and international continuing education courses and congresses mainly in cardiovascular pathology, onco-pathology and internal medicine pathology.
