Simona Morabito
Simona Morabito PhD,
graduated from the University of Messina in July 2010.
After a brief experience in general practice, she undertook a rotating internship at Clinica Veterinaria Malpensa (Italy) and then she spent another year in the Emergency and Critical care service of the same referral centre. In 2013 she enrolled in a specialistic internship in Diagnostic Imaging at the Istituto Veterinario di Novara (Italy).
She worked there for the following 4 years as a Radiologist as well as a freelance radiologist in other referrals in Italy and in UK.
In 2016 she enrolled a PhD programme on Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound with the university of Messina that she completed in 2019. Between 2016 and 2018, she performed several externships in Diagnostic Imaging in Bern and Ghent University.
In October 2018, she started a specialist internship in Diagnostic Imaging and in October 2019 a residency in Diagnostic Imaging in AHT supervised by Ruth Dennis. In May 2020, she moved in Italy where she is continuing her residency program in Ospedale Veterinario Portoni Rossi (Bologna) under the supervision of Dr. Swan Specchi.
She is author of papers published in international peer reviewed journals and she is a speaker of national continuing education courses in Diagnostic Imaging.
