Roberto Jose-Lopez

Roberto Jose-Lopez DVM, DipECVN, MRCVS

graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain in 2006. Following graduation, he performed there a Rotating Internship and after some time in general practice, he returned to the UAB to complete a Residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery between 2009 and 2012. On completion of his residency he moved to the UK and joined the Willows Referral Service as a Neurology Clinician. In 2014, Roberto became a board-certified specialist and in 2015 he joined the Neurology and Neurosurgery team at the University of Glasgow where he was Head of Service for over 2 years. In October 2021, he joined Hamilton Specialist Referrals as Senior Neurology Consultant. Roberto’s clinical and research interests include diagnostic neuroimaging, neurosurgery, intracranial pressure estimation methods, and neuro-oncology including the mechanisms of glioma immune evasion on which he is currently conducting a PhD.
