Lara Matiasek

Lara Matiasek, Dr med vet, Dip ECVN, EBVS®-European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology, MRCVS

graduated in 1999. She achieved her doctoral degree in peripheral nerve research and performed an Internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, LMU Munich. Dr Matiasek underwent a Neurology/ Neurosurgery Residency at the AHT, Newmarket, UK. She is ECVN diplomate since 2007 and worked as AHT Senior Neurologist/ Neurosurgeon for three years. Moving back to Munich, she was employed as Senior Neurologist, Veterinary Teaching Hospital (2011-2014) and Senior Neurologist/ Neurosurgeon, Tierklinik Haar (2014-2017). She served as ECVN examination committee member (2011-2015) and chair. Currently she works at the AniCura Kleintierklinik Babenhausen, Germany. She has published in international peer reviewed journals and is a speaker of national and international continuing education courses and congresses in veterinary neurology.
