Itay graduated from DVM, Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2005, in 2006 he started a Rotating Internship, Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Teaching Hospital ,Koret School of Veterinary Medicine after he finished the internship program, he work for 2 years as a clinical appointment – – Internal Medicine & ICU departments in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital ,Koret School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2008 he started a Residency, Small animal neurology – Veterinary Teaching Hospital Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2012 he achieved the diploma of the ECVN. In 2013 he open Vetneuro, who is today the biggest neurology center in Israel. In 2019 he was announced also as head of neurology department in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a favorite of the clinical and practical approach for veterinary neurology/ he is a national speaker in practical neurology.
