Garrett Oetelaar

Garrett Oetelaar, BSc, MS, DVM, DACVR, DECVDI,
graduated from the University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada with a major in Zoology and acquired his DVM through the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He completed a one-year rotating internship at a private specialty hospital (C.A.R.E. Centre) in Calgary and was subsequently accepted into a four-year diagnostic imaging residency at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. During the same time period, he also completed his Masters degree. Garrett is board-certified with both the American College of Veterinary Radiology and the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, and is also an author of original investigations and case reports in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently employed full-time as a radiologist at the C.A.R.E. Centre.
