Philippa Johnson

Dr. Philippa Johnson BVSc, CertVDI, DipECVDI, MSc, MRCVS,
completed her residency in diagnostic imaging at the Animal Health Trust in 2012.
She worked as a clinical instructor at UC Davis for a year before undertaking a masters in neuroimaging at Kings College in London.
She started in her tenure track roll at Cornell University in 2015 where she continues to work.
Her research is focused on applying advanced MRI techniques to better our understanding of neural anatomy and pathophysiology and improve our ability to diagnose neurological diseases. Her lab has produced a series of open source brain atlases for the horse, dog and cat and has worked on multiple neurological diseases including canine degenerative myelopathy, white matter malformation and spinal trauma.
