Cibele Carvalho

DVM, MSc, PhD

Cibele was graduated from Veterinary Medicine at University of São Paulo, Brazil in 1989. She did her internship and Master of science degree in that school working with abdominal ultrasonography in small animals in 1995.
She enrolled in a Doctoral thesis program working with Renal Doppler in cats (2004), at the institute of Radiology at Medicine School of University of São Paulo, where she was hired as researcher and worked for 10 years. Her post doctoral was achieved in 2014, when she researched CEUS and Elastography in experimental models of non alcoholic hepatic diseases. She is honored member of Brazilian College of Veterinary Radiology.
She was professor at many universities, author of 2 books of Ultrasound in small animals in Portuguese language, several articles published in international peer reviewed journals.
She is speaker of national and international continuing education courses and congresses in Diagnostic Imaging.
Nowadays she is CEO and founder of NAUS – a school of ultrasonography in Brazil.
