The lecture summarises current concepts of neuropathy classification and characterisation. It implements neurobiological basics, cases and some epidemiological data on peripheral nerve disorders. The contents are in particular relevant for residents approaching their board exam and for clinicians that deal with neuromuscular patients and for those that consider biopsy diagnostics.
