Dr. Silja Laberke, DipECVIM-CA (Onc)
graduated from Ludwig-Maximilian University, Munich, Germany in 2005. In 2005, she enrolled in a Doctoral thesis program at the University Munich, supervised by Prof. Dr. Katrin Hartmann and worked at the Clinic for Small Animal Internal Medicine, University Munich, Germany. She was awarded her doctor’s degree in 2010. In 2008, she did a rotating small animal Internship at the Clinic for Small Animal Internal Medicine, University Munich, followed by a residency program in Small Animal Oncology at the same institution, supervised by Prof. Dr. Johannes Hirschberger. In 2014, she started working at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket, UK as a senior clinician in oncology. In 2015, she was awarded the diploma of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM-CA) in Small Animal Oncology and was also recognised as a Specialist in Oncology by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RVCS). Since 2018, she is working at the Animal Hospital Haar, Germany as senior clinician in oncology. She is author of papers published in international peer reviewed journals and reviewer for several scientific journals.
