He is a member of the Italian Association of Veterinary Pathologists (APIV), the European Society of Veterinary Pathology (ESVP).

2. Systemic pathology. Cardiovascular pathology.
3. Pathology of the horse. Necropsy and surgical veterinary pathology service.
His Areas of interests are
A) Cardiovascular pathology: immunohistochemical study of mitral extracellular matrix remodeling in dog.
B) Pathology of the thyroid gland: morphological and immunohistochemical investigation on nodular lesions in horse.
C) Comparative pathology large animal pathology: post-mortem investigation of viral and bacterial disease in cattle
