He started a one-year general rotating small animal internship at the “Gregorio VII” Veterinary Hospital in Rome, followed by a one-year surgical internship at the same institution.

In 2013 he developed his enthusiasm for veterinary neurology and he started his neurology training.

In 2014 he did an international visiting program at the Neurology Service of the North Carolina State University.

From 2014 he started a visiting program at the Neurology Service of the Veterinary Hospital I Portoni Rossi (OVIPR) in Bologna, where he enrolled in a three-years conforming residency programme in Neurology/Neurosurgery supervised by Prof. Marco Bernardini and Dr. Sara Canal in 2017.
