Carina Strohmayer, DVM, DipECVDI
Carina graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria in 2010. In 2011 she enrolled in a Doctoral thesis program about canine spinal new bone formation at the Clinical Unit of Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria under the supervision of Dr. Sibylle Kneissl. In 2015 she happily enrolled in a residency program in diagnostic imaging at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria under the supervision of Dr. Agustina Anson Fernandez and Prof. Eberhard Ludewig. In 2019 she achieved the diploma of the European College of Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). She stayed at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Austria and enrolled in a PhD program, working in a research group about diagnostic imaging, pathomorphologic and molecular methods of squamous cell carcinoma. Additionally, she joined Antech Imaging Services (USA) in 2019. She is author and co-author of papers published in national and international peer reviewed journal and speaker of national and international continuing education courses.
